A smooth rectangle of pale green nephrite jade, left uncarved so the soft, even color and waxy sheen of the stone are the whole design. The edges are gently rounded, and a gold-plated bail shaped like an openwork flower, set with one small green stone, caps the top. At 2.95 cm long and 1.4 cm wide, it is slim enough to wear every day or layer with other chains.
