1. We buy our own rough — at both sources.
Hong travels to the Hpakant market in Myanmar several times a year for jadeite, working only with licensed dealers he has known for years; our nephrite comes from Xinjiang. Every piece is traceable from rough to finished work in our own Kunming workshop.
2. Natural and untreated, described in the terms proper to each stone.
For jadeite that means Type A: never bleached, never resin-filled, never dyed. Nephrite has no Type A/B/C system — that classification belongs to jadeite alone — so it is described as natural and untreated, graded on texture, lustre and colour evenness. No treated material passes under a "natural" label here.
3. Independent certification, not our own word.
The report that ships with your order is issued by an outside gemological laboratory, and its serial number is verifiable on that laboratory's own website.
4. Direct contact with the founder.
Hong reads emails personally. Sizing questions, extra photographs of a specific stone, backlit video so you can judge translucency — write to jadeworldchina@outlook.com. Most jewellery stores put layers of customer service between you and the person who chose the stone. We do not.
