For jadeite that means Type A: never bleached, never resin-filled, never dyed. Nephrite has no Type A/B/C system — that classification belongs to jadeite alone — so it is described as natural and untreated, graded on texture, lustre and colour evenness. No treated material passes under a "natural" label here.
3. Independent certification, not our own word.
The report that ships with your order is issued by an outside gemological laboratory, and its serial number is verifiable on that laboratory's own website.

BMjade is a jade jewellery workshop based in Kunming, Yunnan. Our founder Hong has been buying rough jadeite at the Hpakant market in Myanmar since 2016; our nephrite comes from Xinjiang. Everything we sell is cut, carved and finished by our own team, and ships with an independent gemological certificate.
Does BMjade sell both jadeite and nephrite?
Yes — both minerals that the word "jade" covers. Jadeite is harder, glassier and more translucent; nephrite is warmer, waxier and the toughest gem material there is. Each product page states which one it is, and both are covered by the same guarantee.
Is BMjade jade real and untreated?
Yes. Jadeite pieces are Type A — never bleached, resin-filled or dyed. Nephrite pieces are natural and undyed, described in the terms proper to that material since Type A/B/C applies only to jadeite. Every piece ships with a verifiable certificate, and our lifetime guarantee refunds you in full — plus your lab testing fee — if any qualified independent laboratory ever finds otherwise.
Where is BMjade based, and where does the jade come from?
We are based in Kunming, Yunnan, China. Our jadeite comes from Hpakant in northern Myanmar, and our nephrite from Xinjiang. Everything is finished in our own workshop rather than bought in.
How does the BMjade lifetime guarantee work?
If at any time after purchase a qualified independent gemological laboratory issues a written report showing a piece is not the material or treatment status we described, we refund the full purchase price, reimburse your laboratory testing fee, and reimburse approved tracked return shipping. Which piece should I buy first?
A pendant or a strung bracelet. Pendants carry the clearest symbolic meaning; strung bracelets adjust to the wrist, so nothing depends on an exact measurement. Solid bangles and fixed-size rings are wonderful, but both need measuring first — better as a second purchase, or with our help.
Can I ask BMjade for more photographs before buying?
Yes, and we encourage it. Natural stone varies and photographs never capture translucency honestly. Email jadeworldchina@outlook.com with a product name and we will send additional angles and backlit video of that exact piece.
