A small ping an kou, or peace buckle, cut from blue-green jadeite and polished smooth, with a soft white swirl curling around the center hole. The disc is 16 mm across and 3.8 mm thick, a delicate size for everyday wear, and it hangs from a crown-shaped gold-plated bail. The jade is translucent enough to glow when light passes through it.
